Hot Hubby in Disneyland

Hot Hubby in Disneyland

Whew!  We visited Disneyland together for the first time and it was a huge success.  I think this is the true test of a relationship.  If you like Disneyland together, you will stay together for ever.  That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

For our first visit, I wanted Hot Hubby to ride all of my favorite rides, but take in some of his favorite also.  We started by going left when we entered the gates.  So we hit Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean.  Hot Hubby was one of the first visitors to ride Pirates when it opened, so it holds a special place in his heart.

Next we got a fast pass for The Haunted Mansion and rode Splash Mountain and Winnie the Pooh. On Splash Mountain, we rode with a man and his daughter who made our souvenir picture really funny.  We got totally soaked, but Hot Hubby was a good sport, reason number 589 why I love this man.   There is a lot of construction in this area and I can’t wait to see Star Wars Land!   Then we ran back to The Haunted Mansion and made it just in time for our fast pass.  Hot Hubby is in good shape and never tired, which is reason number 590.

Our next adventure was Thunder Mountain Railroad, which is so fun since the makeover.  It was so much fun and so non-crowded that we rode it twice.  I love the goat at the top who is chewing on a stick of dynamite.  Hot Hubby liked the rattlesnake, but he sees those at home, so maybe it is the familiarity?

Our next stop was Fantasyland.  We whizzed through London with Peter Pan, escaped the Evil Queen with Snow White and barely survived Mr Toad’s Wild Ride.  Alice was too long a line, but we Tea Cupped until we might puke.  As always, we ended Fantasyland with the Carousel.

We headed over the Matterhorn for fast passes and rode It’s a Small World, twice because Hot Hubby enjoyed it so much.  There were two laughing hyenas that I have not noticed before, but they were especially funny today.  So we had to ride it twice to laugh again.

Mickey Toon Town was next and Go  Coaster and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  This one is a family favorite, because my daughter is named Jessica after Jessica Rabbit.  So we always take a picture next to Jessica’s stage door, as a trip memento.  I have pictures of our family at every stage of life, by that Stage Door.

Whew!  I have so much to share, but I am running out of time.   Join me again and I will finish the day.   Thanks for stopping by!
