Walt Disney World Autographs

I heard that my cousin was planning a trip to Disney World to see my favorite Mouse.  She had already ordered your park hopper tickets and was staying in the Contemporary Hotel.  Love that hotel, because the monorail makes it so easy to get to the Magic Kingdom.  She had gotten her magic bands and ordered your fast passes and making restaurant reservations.  Here is the advice I provided about autographs:
In the contemporary hotel lobby, is our favorite restaurant.  Chef Mickey.  It just started serving lunch also.  This restaurant serves great kid, friendly meals, mac & cheese, peanut butter and jelly pizza, chicken nuggets, while also serving Prime Rib, caesar salad, baked potatoes, and yummy adult food.  In addition, they have 6-8 characters who stop by your table and take pictures, sign autographs or just talk.  We usually schedule this early in our trip, so the pressure is off for getting so many autographs.  Also, while you are waiting for your table, they will take a picture of the entire family with a character.  Just remember to give them your phone or camera, and they will take a great picture for free.
We have tried a multitude of different signing options, autograph books, t-shirts, pillowcases and tote bags.  Our two favorites are the plain while pillowcases and the plain white book bags.  I carried an assortment of colored permanent markers and had each character sign with a different color.  Then the kids can take their bags to and from school and remember the trip for a long time.  The pillowcase was good for remembering, but they didn’t get to show their friends as much.  Do not recommend the t-shirt idea, because the characters have to get too close to sign them and the ink goes away quickly after 5-10 washes.

Don’t try to do everything. You will go back.  Oh yea, I forgot that they have a place, Fantasy Faire or something like that has a bunch of princesses in one place for autographs.  So you can knock them out with one time in line and get back to Dumbo.
Thought you would enjoy.  What are your tips for autographs?
